Ahava’s Mission

Ahava (אהבה) is the Hebrew word for love. Ahava is the hope that through unconditional acceptance and service to the great realty beyond ourselves, we can transcend our limiting beliefs and divisive narratives to build a better future.

For thousands of years the Jewish people have prayed for a true and complete liberation - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through a seemingly endless and often times unbearable exile, we’ve survived by holding on to the Torah and the teachings and traditions of our ancestors. Guided by the prophets, mystics, and sages of our past, we’ve held on to the promise that the day of great love (Ahava Raba) will emerge. When the knowledge of our reality will be like water filling an ocean. On that day, all of life will be liberated and the world will recognize its cosmic oneness.

We’re building a platform to actualize the Jewish people’s dream of complete self determination based on our historical and divinely inspired principles. Free of fear based, ego-driven, and colonial influences.

By focusing on the Torah’s approach to healing as a precursor and building tools for the Jewish people to unite, build homes, claim sovereignty and determine our own feature, we aim to test the hypothesis put forth in Jewish writing. Namely, that the survival, renewal, and rejuvenation of an oppressed and divided people happens through solidarity, shared ritual, commitment to the Torah.
